One day Emergency First Aid at Work level 3
Award winning Consultus Care Training Centre launches new 1 day Emergency First Aid qualification.
The award winning Consultus Care Training Centre is excited to announce the launch of our one-day Emergency First Aid at Work, Level 3 course. This is designed for carers and members of the public to gain their first aid qualifications. Come and learn new skills or refresh and update existing skills with our dedicated team of trainers. Our First Aid at work one day course is a great way to keep you up to date with best practices and to gain these skills required to help you deal confidently with a range of emergency first aid situations both at home and in the business environment.
Our course is HSE compliant and Pearson/Edexcel accredited. Our in-house course is delivered by award-winning specialist trainers from our brand-new training centre with state-of-the-art facilities.
On successful completion you will be awarded a certificate which is valid for three years. You will also receive an Emergency First Aid booklet to take away with you.
What’s included in the course.
Topics covered will include the role and responsibilities of the first aider, communication, getting help and first aid hygiene. By the end of the course you will have gained an understanding of how to administer first aid to an adult who is having a seizure, suffering from shock, burns, cuts or severe bleeding.
Following instruction from our experienced, qualified trainers, you will demonstrate your ability to assess an emergency situation, place a casualty in the recovery position and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). You will also have the opportunity to use a training AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on the resuscitation manikin, attaching pads correctly and following automated instructions from the machine.
