Overseas Recruitment Agent - Zimbabwe

Role:

The position is to assist in the identification and recruitment of Carers from Zimbabwe, to work in the UK for our award winning company, providing Live-in Care services to private UK Clients. 

Key Duties:

  • Calling prospective candidates to pre-screen, qualify & promote the companies unique selling points
  • Monitor responses / applications received and process candidates’ applications efficiently
  • Conduct video interviews to assess suitability for the role and skills matching
  • Maintain a good level of compliance in line with CQC regulations. Exploring gaps in employment and reasons for leaving
  • Obtaining employment and character references, written and verbal
  • Checking carers right to work in the UK
  • Book new candidates onto UK induction training programme
  • Obtaining documentation for DBS applications
  • Candidate sourcing through job boards and social media channels
  • Ad-hoc duties such as competitor research, project work and occasional administrative tasks

Skills and Competencies

  • Must be Computer literate – Microsoft Office, Excel, word
  • Time Management skills / Highly organised with the ability to multi-task
  • Flexible and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Possess a professional attitude
  • Be self-driven with initiative to find solutions
  • Be diligent, proactive, patience and empathetic

Personal Qualities

  • Experienced Recruitment Consultant or Resourcer
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Understanding of the role of a live-in carer (desirable but not essential)
  • Must enjoy speaking with people, selling, and building relationships
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • An understanding of overseas visa requirements would be desirable
  • The ability to work well as a team player /alongside your UK & overseas agents
  • Would suit an individual who thinks outside the box bringing fresh ideas
