Recruitment Administrator

Role:

To perform a variety of recruitment administrator tasks to ensure efficient operation of the recruitment team and exceptional service delivery to key internal departments notably our Care at Home Department and Managed Care Department.

Key Duties:

  • Process all new & renewal DBS applications for all carers – UK & Overseas
  • Setting up new UK and overseas carers onto the ACE system
  • Requesting and obtaining verbal and written references
  • Cross reference employment dates on references against application form, and explore discrepancies where necessary
  • Issuing new contract packs for our managed carers
  • Request Occupational health checks
  • Request and check correct documentation have been received following DBS guidelines and ensure right to work checks are completed
  • Scan application forms, references and documentation onto ACE system and update data where necessary
  • Check carers on the DBS update services
  • Track and follow up on outstanding references and DBS checks
  • Running monthly reports to check existing carers who are due for a DBS renewal and
  • Occupational health check
  • Ensure all carers have valid Right to Work documentation – check, scan & update all records and follow up on any outstanding docs within the allowed time period
  • Ensure carers holding UK driving licence have completed online check, when required
  • Print and send carer ID cards
  • Reception cover as required (including lunch cover once a week)
  • Post – franking & sending

Skills and Competencies

  • Ideally experience with DBS applications, visa’s & right to work experience
  • Experience of working within an office environment is essential
  • Proficient user of MS word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye for details
  • Work well in a team
