UK, 25th March, 2021 – Long established and leading national live-in care and nursing provider, Consultus Care and Nursing is today celebrating another milestone as it announces its win of the Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards, in the category of Most Compassionate Live-in Care provider in the South East.

The Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Awards are a celebration of the tireless work undertaken by companies, individuals and initiatives that contribute towards promoting the physical and mental welfare of those in need of support. Consultus Care and Nursing has been one of the leading providers of exceptional live-in carers and live-in nurses for nearly 60 years and has seen significant growth in its live-in care enquiries over the past year. This is due, in part, to the tragic number of Covid-19 cases and deaths in residential care homes despite the often heroic efforts of their staff. The much reduced infection rate in older peoples’ own homes has highlighted the many benefits of 24/7 live-in care, including the significant health and wellbeing advantages as outlined in new research by The Live in care Hub – out next week.

The events of the last year have also meant that Consultus Care and Nursing has had to swiftly adapt to the changing times. From initiating its own Covid-19 saliva PCR safety net testing scheme as early as last Summer, to sourcing its own PPE and launching a nationwide recruitment campaign, Consultus Care and Nursing has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of both its carers and clients.
