Consultus Care & Nursing are delighted that one of their own, Principal Consultant, Emily Garvey, has been shortlisted for the 10th annual Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Awards, in the category of ‘Jobs Transform Lives: Best Candidate Experience’.
Hosted by the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), the IRP Awards are the most impressive recruitment industry professionals and companies in the UK.
As a carer recruiter for Consultus, Emily sources people with the skills and experience to be an exceptional carer. In order to qualify for the category, Emily had to be able to demonstrate that she has helped candidates secure a career that has transformed their lives. She also had to show evidence of how candidate feedback is used to improve performance and examples of where varied approaches have been used to attract candidates from a variety of backgrounds to the role.

Emily was thrilled with the news that she was nominated.
“I feel very humbled and honoured to be nominated for best candidate experience award. I believe that as long as skilled and passionate recruiters support the healthcare system Consultus and I will continue to strive to make a huge impact on lives of the most elderly and vulnerable. I fully appreciate each and every carer that I have had the privilege to meet and can only commend the skilled, challenging yet rewarding careers that our exceptional carers take on. Nothing delights me more than hearing positive feedback from the recruitment journey and knowing how carers are directly changing the lives of both clients and their families.”
Emily noted that the nomination highlights the fantastic work that the Consultus Recruitment team is doing in the sector.
“Consultus Care & Nursing offers a bespoke service for live-in carers, and it’s rewarding to be part of such a valuable and important initiative. Our Recruitment team are always looking for ways to improve and strive to make the recruitment process as smooth and as nurturing as possible.
