Working as a Consultus Nurse

"Going back to the UK for a working holiday was a great adventure.  We arrived in the UK as the bluebells were flowering and spring was well underway.

After travelling round France, Italy and Greece for three months we started work again.

However, working for Consultus did not really feel like work.  From the beginning I was well supported by the head office team who very carefully matched my skills and personality to the patient and their family.

I was placed with a lovely family and had great work colleagues.

Looking after my patient and being able to give absolute quality care without any of the rush and pressure of a busy hospital ward was professionally restoring and rejuvenating and everyone benefitted.

This added to the ability to be able to choose my working schedule and have time off when I needed it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable 2 years.

I was always impressed with welcome support and professionalism whenever I contacted Consultus.  They were always available so I never felt alone.  They genuinely care for their patients and staff.

I can thoroughly recommend Consultus.  If you want to travel, experience another country and extend your nursing expertise in a way which is both rewarding and lucrative then you have found the right people.
