Do I need a Police Check?

Under the Police Act 1997 and Care Standards Act 2000 we are required to obtain, with your involvement, an ‘Enhanced Disclosure’ from the Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) before we offer you work as a Nurse.

We will pass on to you the statutory fee to obtain this document. The law does not permit us to accept as legitimate any existing Disclosure, no matter how recently it was obtained.
