Nursing Job Requirements
Job Specification
You must be:
- a Registered General Nurse (RN1/RNA) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- experienced, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration clinical work in a variety of settings
- eligible to work in the UK (no work permits accepted)
- if from overseas, have successfully completed an Overseas Nurse Programme (ONP) course
- able to provide two professional references
- up-to-date with all Post-Registration Education & Practice (PREP) requirements including a current moving and manual handling certificate
- prepared to apply for an enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check, at the standard rate of £42.00
- available for at least six 2-week bookings in your first year
- able to provide an immunisation record, showing Hepatitis B, BCG and tetanus status (additional immunisations and a health screening may be required for NHS clients).
You must have:

- common sense and emotional maturity
- a commitment to provide the highest standards of care
- fitness and energy
- a desire to put the Client’s needs first
- adaptability and flexibility
- willingness to travel with little notice
- ability to live away from home for weeks at a time
