End of Life / Palliative Nursing

Since 1962, Consultus' Care and Nursing teams have helped thousands of people to achieve their wish of dying in the privacy of their own homes. Today, our experienced Live in Nurses provide their Clients with a high quality, 24/7 nursing care service.
Consultus Nurses will:
- ensure their Client's dignity and self-respect are maintained at all times
- provide a personalised care plan that will take into account their Client's needs, preferences and choices
- provide their Client with relief from pain and other distressing symptoms
- offer continuity of care with two or three Nurses on a rota
- integrate the social, psychological and spiritual aspects of their Client's care
- liaise closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best support systems are put in place
- enable the Client to lead as active a life as possible
- offer a support system to help the family cope during the Client's illness and in their own bereavement
Booking Procedure
Our Nurse Consultants will help you to identify whether our service is appropriate for you or a family member/friend. For more information or to book a Live in Nurse:
- Contact us directly and speak to a Nurse Consultant who will be happy to discuss your needs and preferences in detail and give you an estimated cost of our service.
- Complete and submit a Live in Nursing Enquiry Form; a Nurse Consultant will then make contact with you.
We can sometimes arrange nursing at very short notice but to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend that you provide us with as much notice as possible.
