Respite Care

People who care for someone with dementia, a physical disability or a chronic illness to give just a few examples occasionally need a break from the responsibility of caring for a friend or relative.  Consultus can provide a live in Carer to look after the Client in their own home for as long as required. 

A carefully selected Carer can come and stay in the Client's home for as long as required. The Carer will be chosen according to the needs, wishes and circumstances of the Client and will provide an appropriate level of domestic, physical and emotional support, 24 hours a day.

Short Term Care

Live in Carers can provide personal and domestic care during a period of illness following hospitalisation.

We work with Clients to make sure the right Carer is in place once the discharge dates are known, so that Clients can return home to be cared for in a stress free environment.

Care can be arranged at very short notice. Carers can often by placed within 24 hours of a request being made. Our mimimum booking period is for two days/one night; please note that we do not provide visiting 'daily Carers'.

Booking Procedure

• Contact us directly and speak to a Care Consultant who will be happy to discuss your needs and preferences in detail and give you an estimated cost of our service.
• Complete and submit a Live In Care Enquiry Form; a Care Consultant will then make contact with you.
