What daily rate will be paid to live in Carers?
The daily rate for live in Carers is currently from £59 per day for a single Client and from £72 per day for a couple. The rate is determined by the level of the Client’s needs. Night calls between the hours of 11pm and 7am can be charged at £5.00. Excessive night calls should be reported to Consultus.
Additional payments are made for Public and Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. When in bookings you also get free room and board with your Client and return travel expenses.
As a self employed Carer you are paid directly by the Client, usually by cheque.
