Do I need to have a police check?
By law, Carers in the UK must obtain a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure with a Protection of Vulnerable Adults check before they start work.. This is obtained by completing a form that we will give you. Unlike many agencies, we do not charge a commission on the standard government CRB fee.
Please note that due to legislation introduced in 2004, no healthcare employer or agency may accept a previously obtained disclosure, regardless of how recently it was issued.
If you have lived abroad you should also obtain a police check from that country.
